This Typica variety coffee is produced under banana, Inga, mango and many other shade trees. This protects the soil and river basins from erosion. The coffee cherries are hand picked for quality control, graded by size, density and color. The green beans are then inspected by the Coffee Industry Board of Jamaica (CIB) the regulatory body established to protect the quality of Jamaican coffee. Talkin' Blues has been recognized by the CIB and carries the official Certification/Trademark of Jamaica Blue Mountain.
