Love coffee? Can’t keep up with all the coffee types and styles? You are not alone. The number of
coffee flavors, types, styles and serving methods are constantly increasing.
It is almost impossible to say you ‘don’t like coffee’! Coffee shops have become
a great hangout for everyone. Students, business people, hanging out with
friends; who doesn't love going to a coffee shop and drinking their favorite brew? There has to be ONE type of coffee that suits your taste buds!
If you are not a serious coffee person yet and want to know a little about coffee, there are two types of
coffee beans -- Robusta and Arabica -- with the majority of high quality coffee beans on the market being Arabica. You'll see
many
coffee brands advertising 100% Arabica due to their superior taste and quality. Just under the category of Arabica there are countless varieties of coffee flavors
and coffee roasts that you can experience and sure to find one that you like.
Then there are light roast, medium roast and dark roast coffee
roast types. Light roast is considered a smooth and mild taste, gentle on the palate and the stomach. Most light coffees are going to be low in acid also and 10 times easier to consume. Many serious coffee drinkers may consider the light roast as not having the snap they need. Then there is a medium roast. The medium roast is a bit more robust. Then there is the Dark roast coffee is for those people who like a strong and slightly bitter taste.
Beverages like espresso and cappuccino and lattes have become completely accepted and available in almost every coffee shop. Espresso actually refers to a dark roast coffee prepared in a certain way. First made in Italy, espresso comes in small cups approximately one ounce. Cappuccino has a layer of foam on top. A latte is made with espresso and milk.

Now we come to the
coffee maker. What used to be a simple coffee pot has now been overrun with fancy elaborate coffee machines
and coffee pod machines including what’s called a Tassimo machine, another form of single serving coffee machine. You can easily create your own espresso, cappuccino, latte or traditional coffee using these machines and once hooked going back to a coffee pot is not easy!
